In ‘Pocket Size Memories’ there is a play going on with objects that came out of my pockets and purse. Besides these small objects, the play consists as well out of a white background and the light/shadow-play provoked by an artificial light source. This light could be interpreted as some kind of spotlight that turnes the objects into actors . The objects that got used are in some kind of way taken away from the fact that they are personal belongings due to their universality. By assembling these objects and making different combination, I try to re-create a memory or a narrative through their materiality, in a minimalistic way.
